Advanced Quality Capabilities

Newcomb Spring facilities utilize the latest equipment and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes in the production of our aerospace springs and metal forms. We realize that many aerospace applications have unique challenges, and require dependable performance in harsh environments. Our spring engineers have successfully produced springs, wire forms and stampings that have performed in corrosive surroundings, unique atmospheric pressures and with conditions not found on Earth. We have the experience and expertise to make even the most complex aerospace manufacturing challenge a reality.

For unique and specialized aerospace applications, we can provide extensive quality control testing. With laser, camera and advanced dimensional analysis we work to manufacture parts that meet even the strictest quality standards. We can also employ dimensional tests using video analysis and digital comparators, heat tests, tensile strength tests, and load/force testing. All quality and performance testing can be documented and reported to the customer, if requested.

For some aerospace orders we utilize specialized processes to achieve the highest levels of consistency. This is often helpful in aerospace applications, where a limited number of highly precise, unique parts are needed, and duplicates must be produced as replacement parts.
